Donation Receipt
How can I claim my donation for tax purposes?
Be an Angel e.V. is recognized by the tax authorities as a non-profit organization and is exempt from corporation tax. You can therefore deduct donations to us from your tax bill. Simply enclose the donation receipt issued by us with your tax return.
We will automatically send you a donation receipt for the tax office for donations of 50.00 euros or more, provided we have your current address.
When do I get my donation receipt?
For donations of 50 euros or more, we will automatically send you a donation receipt, provided we have your current address. If you did not provide an address when making your donation, you can request your donation receipt here.
If you have not received a letter from us, we likely do not have your address.
For regular donations, you will automatically receive an annual donation receipt at the beginning of the following year, summarizing all your donations. We ask for your understanding regarding any delays.
When do I receive my annual donation receipt?
We send out the annual donation certificate at the end of January. However, you may not receive the certificate until mid-February.
If you have received your annual donation certificate and there are mistakes present, please contact us immediately and we will resolve any issues.
I haven't received my donation receipt yet. What can I do?
If your donation was made more than six weeks ago, you should have received a letter of thanks and a donation receipt from us.
If you have not received a letter from us, we probably do not have your address.
