First

From frontline rescue operations to sustainable integration support, we provide a one-step agency for refugees and asylum seekers around the globe.

The worst thing we can do right now is: to do nothing.

In Kyiv, 600,000 people have had to leave their homes because they would have frozen there. Again and again, the makeshiftly repaired energy infrastructure is deliberately targeted and destroyed. There is no end to this war of terror in sight. People need help, now.

Be an Angel has been active in Ukraine for four years. We have a strong and reliable network and already delivered generators to frontline areas in the winter of 2022. Our suppliers are based locally, which means there are no additional transport or border costs. Aid arrives quickly and directly.

But a generator alone is not enough. Diesel, batteries, and thermal blankets are also urgently needed. Be an Angel works with local partners who ensure that generators and fuel reach exactly those places where they are vital for survival.

And it is not only Kyiv. Nearly all major cities across Ukraine are experiencing severe power outages. Particularly affected are cities under constant shelling, such as Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Odesa, Kramatorsk, and Mykolaiv. We receive daily calls for help: families lying under several blankets with their babies, elderly people in unheated apartments, people without elevators, without light, without warmth.

This is a war of attrition and exhaustion. Assistance must be provided again and again. Be an Angel takes responsibility instead of shifting it elsewhere: pragmatic, flexible, and consistent.

Donate. Help now.

How it all Started

We pick up where governments fail to continue.

Be an Angel started off as a group of friends providing housing to homeless refugees on the streets of Berlin during the 2015 migrant crisis. Since then, we have grown to become an international charity providing crisis relief, rescue operations, advocacy, consultation and support for refugees around the world.
