HOPE HOME • НАДІЯ is a pilot project for a radically different reconstruction in Ukraine. The aim is to create a broad network of knowledge, disciplines, and geographies to utilize renewable building materials. It begins with a material exhibition in Kyiv.

HOPE HOME • НАДІЯ and Be an Angel e.V. are pleased to host this first event for sustainable building in Ukraine under one roof. From September 21 to 29, 2024, the Kyiv Chamber of Architects will host an interdisciplinary event featuring workshops for students. Experts from art, science, business, and architecture will come together to demonstrate the possibilities of renewable building materials for rebuilding war-torn regions.

This event follows a six-month phase of Zoom workshops, where various materials and the diverse impacts of the war were discussed.

On the initiative of Adrienne Goehler, the former independent Berlin Senator for Culture and President of the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg, a showcase of sustainable building materials will take place at the Kyiv Chamber of Architects. These materials are intended for use in reconstruction efforts in rural areas of the Mykolaiv Oblast. Be an Angel e.V. is involved as the umbrella organization.
