Together with Bibiana Beglau, Meike Rötzer, and Johann von Bülow, we turn to Goethe’s Iphigenia in Tauris, a dialogue about home, exile, and humanity. These themes also shape our daily work with refugees and in humanitarian aid. They remind us how vital openness and solidarity are, then as now.
Iphigenia: Can a foreign land become a homeland to us?
Arkas: And has the homeland become foreign to you.
Iphigenia: That is why my bleeding heart does not heal.
The reading will be accompanied by a three-course menu. Admission is €70 (including menu and drinks).
The evening is dedicated to solidarity – guests are invited to support BE AN ANGEL e.V. with a donation.
