
On September 23, 2025, at 7 PM, we warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition “Building Bridges” at Kunstquartier Bethanien, Studio 1, Berlin-Kreuzberg.
The evening will be opened with a welcome by Marie von Manteuffel (Caritas international, “Woman of Europe 2025” – EBD).
Artists featured:
Farah Abou Assali presents a photo project from Lebanon about freedom and overcoming borders.
Johanna-Maria Fritz (Ostkreuz Agency) shows her series Darnyzja, photographed in 2024 in Kyiv. A selection is also on display at Kreuzberger Himmel Restaurant, highlighting the city partnership Kyiv-Darnyzja ↔ Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
Dagmar Gester’s series What Remains? focuses on objects refugees brought with them on their journeys – a moving reflection on loss and destiny.
