Berlin Freedom Week 2025 – We’re Part of It!
From 8 to 15 November 2025, Berlin celebrates the first Berlin Freedom Week — a new citywide series of events on freedom, democracy, and human rights.
Be an Angel e.V. is proud to be part of it: through panels, film screenings, and curated stages, we show what freedom, responsibility, and solidarity mean — here and now.
Our contributions focus especially on the people and civil society in Ukraine — on the voices of artists, activists, and helpers who work every day for human dignity and justice, in Berlin, in Ukraine, and beyond.
Berlin Freedom Week is an initiative of the Axel Springer Freedom Foundation, the Berlin Commissioner for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship, the Robert Havemann Society, visitBerlin, and the World Liberty Congress.
Be an Angel e.V. is offering 30 free tickets for the documentary film “Kherson: Human Safari.”
The film, directed by Zarina Zabrisky, sheds light on the human rights violations and resilience of civilians in occupied Kherson. The screening will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 19:00 at the Filmtheater Colosseum, Schönhauser Allee, as part of the Stories of Freedom festival. Join us for an evening of powerful storytelling and discussion on freedom, courage, and humanity in times of war.
