Be an Angel e.V. initiates a Charitable Fashion Collaboration with Litkovska and Nick Knight

Berlin, 25. September 2024 – Be an Angel e.V., the global nonprofit organization known for its direct-action refugee support and humanitarian work, is proud to announce its role in facilitating a unique collaboration between Ukrainian fashion house LITKOVSKA and renowned British image maker Nick Knight. The collaboration, which merges the artistic vision of both creators, will culminate in a capsule collection that combines fashion with a deeply humanitarian cause: supporting children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Since its foundation in 2015, Be an Angel e.V. has established itself as a trusted partner within the creative industries. While many past collaborations have been initiated by fashion brands seeking to align with meaningful causes, this time it was the initiative of Be an Angel e.V., led by team member Holger Homann, that brought together Lilia Litkovska and Nick Knight.

The fashion industry is currently experiencing a profound shift. With close ties to other sectors and a rapidly evolving audience, fashion is increasingly focused on addressing conflicts and humanitarian challenges in its activities. This collaboration between LITKOVSKA and Nick Knight reflects that shift, using fashion as a platform to raise awareness and provide tangible support for vulnerable communities.

The LITKOVSKA x Nick Knight capsule collection is centered around the theme of ‘Жнива’ (Zhynyva), the Ukrainian word for ‘harvest’ and around the slogan „Flowers Know Better“. It will be part of LITKOVSKA’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection and has debuted today at Paris Fashion Week. While the collection itself represents the artistic intersection of Lilia Litkovska’s Ukrainian designs and Nick Knight’s iconic floral imagery, its purpose goes beyond fashion: All profits from the collection, available in stores starting February 2025, will be dedicated to supporting Ukrainian children, the most vulnerable victims of this ongoing war.

Be an Angel e.V. prides itself on a unique model of efficiency. Unlike larger organizations where administrative costs can consume over 35% of donations, only 11% of the organizations funds go toward administrative expenses. This ensures that the overwhelming majority of donations directly benefit those in need. Our work in Ukraine, starting with the beginning of the war, has focused on delivering immediate relief, evacuating civilians from conflict zones, and providing long-term support for rebuilding efforts. To date, we have evacuated over 23,500 people and delivered 4,800 tons of vital aid to Ukraine.
